It’s Sunday, and I had promised myself that I would give my mind and body a break and not work on my start-up. I know that relaxing is hard but necessary when you are going through a challenging time in your life. Yet it’s 12:00 and I’ve already read 3 chapters of a book about my area of focus, read 5 articles on Medium and explored 4 profiles on LinkedIn.
I tried to stop but this only led me to nervously eating instead, so I gave up because if I just sit and eat all day I’ll just feel worse because it’ll make me sluggish and bloated. I know that I need to find a solution to this problem. I am very aware of the fact that I will make grounds with my new activity if I focus on it with a fresh and rested mind.
Time to try some relaxation techniques
